Andreas Hartono, Partner, Irianto, Andreas & Partners, Law Office

Andreas has been in legal practice since 2000. In 2010, he co-established IA & Partners. His major clients are multinational corporations, publicly listed companies, as well as privately owned companies in Indonesia and the region.

His practice focuses on mergers & acquisitions, capital markets, energy & natural resources, shipping, project financing, restructuring and bankruptcy, employment, entertainment and media industry, arbitration and dispute resolution. He acts for a number of domestic and multinational companies with Indonesian operations in energy and natural resources, shipping, cables manufacturing, chemical trading, asset management, construction, retail business, music recording and publishing, and the multimedia industry.

He has advised these clients in their merger and acquisition as well as in day-to-day operations. He has also successfully represented clients in various court cases (civil, criminal, bankruptcy and PKPU cases).

Andreas is a registered member of the Indonesia Advocates Association (Peradi), the Indonesian Advocate Association (AAI), the Capital Market Lawyers Association (HKHPM), the International Bar Association (IBA), the Indonesian Receiver and Administrator Association (AKPI), and the Chartered Institute of Arbitration (CIArb).

He graduated from the Law Faculty of Tarumanegara University in 1997, and from the Master of Laws Program in the International Banking Law at the Boston University School of Law in 1999. In 2012, he attended a Diploma in the International Commercial Arbitration at the St. Anne’s College, Oxford University, held by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (London). In 2015, he attended a receiver and administrator course and obtained a qualification as a Receiver and Administrator from the Indonesian Receiver and Administrator Association (AKPI).

 

Johannes C. Sahetapy-Engel, Partner, AKSET Law

Johannes is a specialist in labor and employment matters and cross-border transactions, particularly mergers and acquisitions, with subspecialties in oil and gas. Prior to forming AKSET, he was a partner at a major Jakarta law firm and worked for six years at international firms in Singapore, where he specialized in complex transactions. Johannes graduated from the Faculty of Law of University of Airlangga, Surabaya, in 1994. He holds Master Degree in Law from University of Gadjah Mada, Jogjakarta.

 

Donke Kahfi, Senior Partner, DK & Situmorang Lawyers                         

Mr. Donke Kahfi is the senior partner at DKNS Lawyers. He has Bachelor in Law from Trisakti University majoring in International and Business Law and MSc in Business Management from Aston Universtity United Kingdom.

Prior to forming DKNS Lawyers he worked for a tier law firm in Jakarta and a number of international organizations such as United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) and the World Bank. One of his noble assignments is when he involved in tsunami rehabilitation and reconstruction activities through Badan Rehabilitas Rekonstruksi Aceh dan Nias (“BRR”) where he worked as a technical advisor for its legal unit. BRR is the government agency at ministry level established to perform post tsunami rehabilitation and reconstruction in Aceh and Nias island. During his tenure, he advised the head of BRR on the legal aspects to numerous regulations and decrees he had produced. Besides, he assisted to mediate numerous disputes between International NGOs and their contractors. Currently, he has been involved in a number of infrastructure project development initiatives especially Public Private Partnership ranging from regulatory to project implementation. Some of the notable projects he is doing are preparing OBC for 4 PPP projects namely light rail transit in medan, sport hub in Papua, prison in nusakambangan and teaching hospital in manado. Also he is assisting a WTE project in tanggerang and sidoarjo, and Palapa-ring project.

In this opportunity, he will be illustrating about how infrastructure project through PPP mechanism is done.

 

Diana Widyastuti, Senior Legal Advisor, DK & Situmorang Lawyers

Mrs. Diana is the senior legal advisor at DKNS Lawyers. She has almost 20 years of experience in advising various clients in infrastructure related works such as governments, state owned enterprises, international donor, private sectors etc. She has been involved in the process of planning, preparation, transaction and renegotiation of the infrastructure projects. Her notable projects amongst others are development of Kalibaru Terminal in Tanjung Priok Port, Teluk Lamong Multipurpose Terminal, Railway Double Tracking on Java South Line, Jakarta MRT System, Bitung International Hub Port, Palapa Ring Fibre-Optic Backbone, and the development of Electronic Road Pricing Syatem for the local government of Jakarta. 

Moreover, she has also been trusted by government to provide recommendation for policy level by developing guidelines for dredging concession and Public Private Partnership (PPP) bundling project. Her experience on advising both government and private sectors has given her comprehensive knowledge and point of view to manage legal issues in the sector.

In this event, she will be presenting the general policy of infrastructure development and the modes of infrastructure investment in Indonesia. 

 

Chitra Priambodo, Senior Technical Consultant, DK & Situmorang Lawyers (Castlerock Consulting)

Ms. Chitra is the senior technical consultant for infrastructure development project. She has master’s degrees in Energy Technology from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, and in International Project Management from ESCP Europe, France. In professional set up, she has more than 17-year of experience in consulting services, particularly in clean energy sector. She has assisted numerous renewable energy projects  such as mini-hydro, energy efficiency, agricultural waste especially in obtaining carbon credits from Clean Development Mechanism. Her regional coverage of working experience covers Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, China and the Philippines. She has been DKNS business partner for a number of ocassions and currently associated with Castlerock Consulting.

Currently she is dealing with various renewable energy project development, technical assistance and energy access. She is currently serving as a deputy team leader for a multi-year assignment with Asian Development Bank to provide independent verification opinion regarding PLN achievements in their Electricity Grid Strengthening Program (Distribution network) in Sumatera, Indonesia,  which is partially funded through loan from ADB and the World Bank. She is also a team-leader for non-construction activities (Environmental and social aspects, gender issues, economic opportunities and institutitonal set-up) for a Solar PV off-grid project developed in 5 villages in Sumba Island,  Eastern Indonesia, with the grant financing from Millenium Challenge account. 

In addition to that, Chitra’s experience in Greenhouse Gas (GHG) calculation and verification has led her to assignments as monitoring and evaluation (M&E) specialist in Indonesian Clean Energy Development, and as the leading M&E expert is evaluating the impact of Micro-hydro grants funded by the World Bank through National Program on Community Empowerment (Program Nasional Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, PNPM). 

In this ocassion, she will be presenting a number of cases found in the infrastructure development initiatives especially from renewable energy sector.
